La Maison Hotel – Hotel near airport in Port-au-Prince

The hotel is located in a very safe area, just 750 meters from the international terminal. While the rooms are simple and lack windows, they are kept reasonably clean. However, noise from the shared lounge and hallway can be disruptive, especially in the mornings. The location and security were the main reasons for my choice, although the interior decor could use some improvement.

My stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations overall. The rooms were nice, clean, and surprisingly better than I anticipated, although they lacked windows, which can be a personal preference. The location was convenient, safe, and right next to the airport, with no traffic issues. The dining experience fell short of my expectations, but the service was outstanding and the facilities offered were satisfactory.
